# Using LinkedIn with PostOnce
> Connect a LinkedIn profile or Company Pages to PostOnce, copy Company Page posts to other platforms, and publish text, images and video to LinkedIn. Limits and errors.
PostOnce can publish to your LinkedIn profile or Company Pages, and copy posts from Company Pages to other platforms.
## Connect LinkedIn
On [Accounts](https://postonce.to/dashboard/accounts), click **Connect LinkedIn**. PostOnce asks what you want to connect:
* **Personal profile**: can receive posts (destination only).
* **Company Pages**: can receive posts and be a workflow source. You need an admin or content admin role on the Page. Choose the Pages under **Select Company Pages**; each Page counts as one account on your plan.
Personal LinkedIn connections expire after a while. PostOnce emails you 7 days before so you can reconnect without missing posts.
## LinkedIn as a source
* Only Company Pages can be a source. A personal profile shows "Not available".
* PostOnce checks LinkedIn for new posts every 15 minutes.
* Reshares, polls, celebrations and document posts are skipped. Article posts are copied as the text plus the article link.
## Publishing to LinkedIn

Images and video can't be mixed in one post. Posts are always public. Hashtags stay clickable; @mentions are posted as plain text because LinkedIn's API can't tag people from text.
## LinkedIn errors
| Error message | What to do |

| "LinkedIn authentication failed. Please reconnect your account. Details: {details}" | [Reconnect](/help/reconnect-an-account) LinkedIn. |
| "Your LinkedIn connection has expired. Please reconnect." | Reconnect LinkedIn. |
| "LinkedIn account is missing the required {permission} permission." | Reconnect and approve every permission. |
| "LinkedIn rate limited the media upload." | Retry in an hour. |
| "LinkedIn accepted the post but final publication could not be verified." | Check LinkedIn before retrying, so you don't post twice. |
| "LinkedIn video processing failed with status {status}." | Re-export the video as MP4 and retry. |
| "Only LinkedIn Company Pages can be used as sources." | Choose a Company Page as the source. |
| "Reconnect this LinkedIn Company Page to enable it as a source." | Reconnect the Company Page. |
| "No LinkedIn Company Page found. This option connects Company Pages you are an admin of. Ask a Page admin to give you an admin role, or choose another platform." | Ask a Page admin for an admin role. |
| "The LinkedIn Company Page selection expired. Please connect again." | Connect again and choose the Pages within 10 minutes. |
