# Security and your data

> What PostOnce stores when you connect social accounts, how to revoke access, how PostOnce uses AI, and how to delete your PostOnce account and data.

## Does PostOnce store my passwords?

No. You approve access on each platform's own login screen, and the platform gives PostOnce an access key that can be revoked at any time. PostOnce never sees your social media passwords.

* **Bluesky** uses an app password you create for PostOnce, which you can delete in Bluesky at any time.
* **PostOnce sign-in** uses Google or an emailed code, so there's no PostOnce password either.
* **Payments** are handled by Stripe; PostOnce never stores full card numbers.
* **API keys** are stored as one-way hashes and shown only once when you create them.

## What PostOnce does with your content

PostOnce stores the posts it copies, your captions and the media it publishes, so it can publish them and show you the results. Your content isn't sold and isn't used to train AI models. When you use [Rewrite caption with AI](/help/captions), only that caption is sent to the AI provider to rewrite it.

## Revoke access

* **One account:** remove it on [Accounts](https://postonce.to/dashboard/accounts), and remove PostOnce from the connected apps in that platform's settings.
* **YouTube:** you can also remove PostOnce at [Google account connections](https://myaccount.google.com/connections).
* **AI assistants:** click **Revoke access** under **Settings › AI agents › Connected apps**.
* **API keys:** click **Revoke** under **Settings › API keys**.

## Delete your account

1. [Cancel your subscription](/help/billing-and-refunds#cancel-your-subscription).
2. Email [support@postonce.to](mailto:support@postonce.to) from the address on your account and ask for your account to be deleted.

Your data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days, as described in the [privacy policy](https://postonce.to/privacy-policy). Posts already published on social platforms stay there; delete them on each platform.

## Still stuck?

Search this help center with <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd>, or email [support@postonce.to](mailto:support@postonce.to) from the address you use for PostOnce. Include the platform, the approximate time, and the exact message you saw. Never send passwords, access tokens, API keys, or card details.
